Iconic Australian manufacturing company, Sebel Furniture appoints Trevor Vyner as Chief Executive Officer.
With 25 years’ experience in sales and general management, Trevor’s combination of leadership skills, passion and technical expertise positions him as the ideal new leader for Sebel. Guided by a talented and enthusiastic team of people and bringing with him an innovative and customer-centric approach, Trevor looks forward to building on Harry Sebel’s rich legacy in 2017 and beyond.
Sebel initially engaged Trevor as a consultant to help with sales strategy and process in 2012. Over the following two years, this direct interaction with all levels of the organisation across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong proved so enjoyable for both parties that in 2014, Trevor joined the Executive Team as the GM Sales & Marketing.
Trevor is passionate about the contribution that community-based organisations like schools, universities, hospitals and venues make to society and each of us as individuals. He is focused on helping these organisations create happy, healthy and engaging spaces that play such an important role in the community.
Place and space are inextricably tied to our sense of community and identity. A self-confessed geek on all things technical, Trevor sees furniture as technology for spaces, allowing people to dynamically shape their spaces to build community and express their identity.
Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Trevor, his wife Leanne and children Ally and Joseph moved to Sydney in 2009 where they had their third child Evie in 2014.
