"Here I work with like-minded students as a team, with a central focus, solving a real problem that we have seen and are passionate to resolve. We have been given tools to help us work strongly and respectfully together."
The Collaboration learning mode allows students to work in project teams to resolve real world problems and challenges. This is a critical learning mode vital to a blended and modern pedagogical approach. Students learn to apply and work through individual insights and other ideas, to develop improved outcomes. The group works autonomously building a sense of mastery directed towards aligned individual and group purposes.
Settings should include tables with chairs (or ‘stand-at’ benches) that can be configured with a central focus. Writeable group surfaces on tables and on vertical boards assists students to work together and build upon each other’s ideas. Screening or other furniture can create defined zones for different teams.
