Albany Creek State High School, on the North-side of Brisbane, opened their newly completed building in
January 2020 with additional learning spaces to accommodate extra students.
The focus for additional learning spaces was on Junior and Senior classrooms, STEM labs and specialised
learning areas that could be expanded out to be comfortable and engaging collaborative spaces.
The new collaborative spaces were designed with flexibility in mind. They had to accommodate a variety of classes
including Science and Art as well as be used as a common area for lunch and recess.
Fun, light and bright colours were used to break up the collaborative spaces and add pops of colour. We’re proud
to have been able to create this new learning environment with them and will let the results speak for themselves!
