Located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Sebel partnered with Nirimba State Primary School to fit out their new school build with unique, inspiring learning spaces for their students and staff. A custom colour palette was chosen to bring to life the vision Nirimba had for the project. Business Development Manager, Emma Yourell, worked closely with the Principal, Deputy Principal and Business Manager to carefully select Postura® Max chair
colours that tied in with the school’s overall colour theme.
Emerald, Wasabi and Sapphire were chosen across the different year levels, as well as specialist Indigenous print fabrics used in some soft furnishings. The student tables in the classroom were finished in a neutral soft timber tone to compliment the colour accents. To complete this major project, we have helped design and fit out 30 GLA’s, Breakout Spaces, Administration Areas, Resource Centres, Multimedia Rooms, Music Rooms and the School Hall.
Steven Moore, Foundation Principal, had a very clear vision for how his school was going to look. He envisioned inviting reading spaces for all children in the classroom, individual desks for each student to call their own, and a very special Resource Centre that was specifically designed for the school. Twist’n’Lock tables, Postura® Max chairs and Create-A-Mats were used for reading areas. A Forest meets Sea theme in the library was executed beautifully with bespoke pieces of furniture and a matching colour scheme.
It has been a pleasure working on this project with Nirimba State Primary School and we are delighted that the school was happy with the way Sebel understood the brief. We look forward to seeing the students and staff enjoy these spaces for years to come.
